About the role

As the Manager, Financial Consolidation & Reporting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the company's financial reporting. This full-time position, based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, will contribute to the strategic objectives of the Finance team and the broader organization.

What you'll be doing

  • Group Financial Consolidation: Execute consolidation processes in compliance with IFRS/GAAP and company policies.
  • Intercompany Reconciliation: Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
  • Management Reporting: Prepare and present detailed weekly/monthly reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and variance analysis.
  • Cash Management: Oversee cash flow projections, liquidity forecasting, and monitoring of group cash balances.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with finance teams to prepare group-wide budgets and forecasts.
  • Audit Support: Prepare consolidated financial statements and assist with internal and external audits.
  • System Enhancement: Participate in designing and improving the Group's accounting system.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Deliver financial insights and reports to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA preferred).
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in group financial reporting and consolidation (developer or construction industry preferred).
  • At least 2 years in an audit firm.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, foreign exchange regulations, and tax compliances.
  • Proficiency in Excel skills.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese for effective communication with Chinese counterparts.
  • Ability to work independently, priorities tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
