About the role

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Visko Industries Sdn Bhd in Port Klang, Selangor. As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our production facilities. What you'll be doing

  • Designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality
  • Analyzing production data and identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Developing and implementing process control systems, including the use of automation and digital technologies
  • Providing technical support and training to production operators and staffs
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
  • Participating in the development of new products and the implementation of new manufacturing technologies

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial, or a related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the chemical or process industry
  • Strong understanding of process engineering principles, including process design, optimization, and control
  • Proficient in the use of process simulation and optimization software, as well as data analysis tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong project management and team collaboration abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards
