Job Summary:
The Site Assistant is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations at the project site, ensuring smooth coordination between workers, supervisors, and management. This role involves assisting in documentation, logistics, manpower coordination, and ensuring that all site activities comply with company policies and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Supervisor or Site Manager in daily site operations and coordination.
- Monitor staff attendance, record daily manpower, and update reports.
- Prepare and maintain site documentation such as daily reports, delivery orders, and attendance lists.
- Coordinate site for tools, materials, and equipment to ensure work progress is not disrupted.
- Support the HR and Admin team by collecting and submitting site-related documents (e.g., timesheets, safety forms).
- Communicate effectively with workers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Report any incidents, equipment issues, or site irregularities promptly to the Site Supervisor.
- Assist during site inspections or audits by clients, consultants, or management.
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in any related field (Construction, Engineering, or Administration preferred).
- At least 1 year of working experience in a similar role or site-based position.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work under minimal supervision and adapt to site environments.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, or Google Sheets).
- Must be willing to travel or stay at project sites when required.
