RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION

The Chef de Partie plays a key role in ensuring efficient kitchen operations by maintaining smooth workflow in both food preparation and service. This position is responsible for delivering consistently high-quality cuisine, adhering to established standards, and continuously improving processes to enhance the guest experience..

Duties:

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Supervise and train junior chefs and commis chefs, ensuring skill development within the team.
  • Maintain strict food hygiene and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and compliant kitchen environment.
  • Monitor portion sizes to maintain cost control and minimize food wastage.
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop innovative new dishes and menus.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels, manage inventory, and place orders as necessary.
  • Keep workstations organized, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Guarantee timely and sufficient food delivery, ensuring smooth restaurant service.

Requirements:

  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in kitchen operation.
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
