About the role

We are seeking a Poultry Farm Technical (Broiler) to join our team at NB Farming & NB Poultry Processing Industries Sdn Bhd in Johor. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our poultry farm operations, ensuring efficient and sustainable broiler production.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing effective broiler rearing and feeding programmes to optimise flock health and performance
  2. Monitoring and analysing key farm metrics such as feed conversion ratios, mortality rates, and growth rates to identify areas for improvement
  3. Providing technical guidance and training to farm staff to enhance their knowledge and skills
  4. Liaising with veterinarians and other industry professionals to stay up-to-date with the latest poultry farming best practices
  5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant agricultural and animal welfare regulations
  6. Assisting in the planning and execution of farm expansion and modernisation projects

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field
  2. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial poultry farm management, preferably with a focus on broiler production
  3. Strong technical knowledge of broiler rearing, nutrition, and health management
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address farm-related issues
  5. Effective communication and training abilities to work collaboratively with the farm team
  6. Familiarity with relevant agricultural regulations and animal welfare standards
  7. Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced farm environment
