Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough reviews of all accounting records to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Overseeing daily accounting operations and guaranteeing strict adherence to internal control systems and procedures.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly statutory payments for Tourism Tax and SST (Sales and Service Tax).
  • Proactively monitoring cash flow, ensuring timely outgoing payments, and overseeing collections to maintain healthy liquidity.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact with external parties, including auditors and bankers.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess a Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive working experience in an accounting role.
  • Proven and significant working experience in hospitality accounting is highly preferred and strongly encouraged.
  • Must be willing and able to be based permanently in Bintulu.
