About the role

As the Warehouse & Logistics Manager at Secret Recipe Sarawak, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's warehousing, storage and distribution operations. This full-time position is based in Demak Laut, Kuching, Sarawak and is essential in ensuring the efficient and effective management of the company's supply chain logistics.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To manage day-to-day warehouse operational activities and processes.
  • To supervising the receipt and release of material and goods inventories to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • To monitor the inventory levels to ensure sufficiency of stocks and place requisition when inventory is low.
  • To conduct checking and verification on incoming and outgoing orders, goods condition, and properly maintain the prescribed documentation.
  • To leading, managing, motivating and evaluating subordinate staff.
  • To perform scheduling work, assigning tasks and coordinating activities of the teams.
  • To develop and implement improvement measures to optimize warehouse management processes.
  • To ensuring the goods are properly stored, arranged, and FIFO/FEFO is strictly adhered to.
  • To conduct internal inspection on the compliance with safety, fire and sanitary regulations, ensuring the provision of protection equipment.
  • To preparing regular reports for the company management.
  • To performing ordinary, ongoing and extraordinary inventory taking of stocks.
  • To assist in ad-hoc duty as assigned by the management from time to time.

JOB / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics and supply chain management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-5 years working experience in related industry and preferably in warehouse management or equivalent.
  • Able to work independently, trustworthy, responsible and positive working attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team player, and communication skills.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office excel.
