About the role
Palato is seeking a talented Sales Executive to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding our client base within the local market. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your sales and customer service skills while contributing to the growth and success of our dynamic organisation.
What you'll be doing
Promote and sell Palato's range of wines to individual customers, restaurants, and retail partners
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
Conduct wine tastings, events, and product presentations to enhance customer engagement
Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective prospecting and negotiation
Stay up to date with wine trends, product knowledge, and market developments
Provide excellent customer service and follow up on orders and inquiries
What we're looking for
- Passion for wine and eagerness to learn more about the industry
- Proven experience in sales, hospitality, or related fields (experience in wine sales is a plus)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
