About the role

As a Site Safety Supervisor based in Sedenak/Gelang Patah, Johor, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our employees at PEMBINAAN BUKIT CHEEDING SDN. BHD., a leading construction company. This full-time position is integral to the Health, Safety & Environment team, responsible for implementing and maintaining robust safety measures across our operations.

Project: 132kv Underground Cable (Sedenak), 275kv Compulity Technology (Gelang Patah)

Employer Type: Contract (5 (five) months) (2 positions)

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential safety risks
  • Developing and delivering tailored health and safety training programs for our workforce
  • Investigating incidents and accidents, and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Collaborating with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety considerations into construction planning and execution
  • Maintaining comprehensive records and reporting on the company's health and safety performance
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and encouraging employees to priorities safe work practices

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 year experience as Safety Site Supervisor
  • Degree or diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field
  • Familiar with TNB SAFCA audit
  • Must possess valid Yellow Book and valid First Aider certificate and NTSP (NIOSH TNB Safety Passport) certificates
  • No fatal accidents record in the past 2 years
  • Able to join immediately (highly preferred) Start November/December 2025
  • Additional certifications are an advantage
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with employees at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address safety-related challenges
  • Proficient in using safety management software and data analysis tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver on safety objectives
