About the role
We are seeking a talented BIM Modeler to join our team at Eco World Development Group Berhad in Kuala Lumpur. As a BIM Modeler, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of our construction projects, using your expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM) to create detailed, accurate 3D models that will inform and guide the entire construction process.
This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects and contribute to the success of our growing company.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and maintain BIM models to support the design, construction and facilities management of our projects
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and construction teams to ensure the BIM models accurately reflect the project requirements
- Perform clash detection and conflict resolution to identify and resolve design issues early in the construction process
- Generate 2D drawings, schedules, and other documentation from the BIM models to support the construction phase
- Provide training and support to project teams on the use of BIM technology
- Stay up-to-date with the latest BIM software, tools and industry best practices
What we're looking for
Minimum Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, MEP, or equivalent.
Proficient in Autodesk Revit; knowledge of Navisworks, Dynamo, and other BIM-related certification is an advantage.
Familiar with BIM Level 2 workflows, clash detection, and coordination processes.
At least 4 years and above of relevant working experience in drafting & coordination in Architectural / C&S Engineering work and obtained producing technical drawings.
2 years and above of experience in clash detection, BIM execution planning, and digital collaboration within construction projects.
Experience in providing training and technical support on BIM-related workflows to project teams.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit & MS Office.
Strong technical drawing and presentation skills, computer skills.
Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia to lead coordination meetings
A team player with strong initiative, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
