About the role

Little Bloomers Speech Therapy Centre is seeking a talented and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Alor Setar, Kedah. As a full-time Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to our clients, helping them achieve their functional and personal goals.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify clients' strengths, limitations, and specific needs
• Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to address clients' physical, cognitive, and sensory processing difficulties
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care
• Providing hands-on therapy sessions to help clients improve their fine motor skills, self-care abilities, and overall independence
• Educating clients, their families, and caregivers on effective strategies and techniques to support the client's rehabilitation process
• Maintaining detailed client records and contributing to the overall quality improvement of our services

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
• Minimum 1 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a paediatric setting. New grad are welcome.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and the multidisciplinary team
• Strong problem-solving and clinical reasoning abilities to develop tailored treatment plans
• Passion for helping clients achieve their maximum potential and improve their quality of life
• Registration with the Malaysian Society of Occupational Therapists (MSOT) or equivalent professional body
