Role: Automation Tester

YOE : 4-6 Years

Location : Kwasa Damansara

Type : 6 Month Contract (Renewable)

Job Description:

  • Design and run API tests to improve testing efficiency and product quality.
  • Create and follow testing procedures to detect product defects and ensure the system works as intended.
  • Perform regression testing to verify that existing features are not affected by new changes.
  • Maintain, support, and troubleshoot the testing infrastructure and automation tools.
  • Work closely with the Agile team to understand user stories, acceptance criteria, and deliver quality releases.
  • Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and updated applications.
  • Analyze user stories, requirements, and use cases to identify test scenarios.
  • Estimate time and effort for proposed automation solutions.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate software quality and compliance with coding standards.
  • Keep documentation up to date for test cases and automation routines.
  • Build and manage test data required for testing activities.
  • Execute both manual and automated tests, record results, and report bugs or issues found.
  • Communicate test findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to project stakeholders to ensure quick resolution.

Requirements:

  1. Hands-on experience with functional, integration, and end-to-end testing in SIT environments.
  2. Strong skills in test automation using tools like Katalon, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
  3. Experience in defect management — reporting, tracking, and analysis using Jira or equivalent tools.
  4. Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and test integration tools such as Jenkins.
  5. Good understanding of test planning, documentation, and traceability management.
