The QC Inspector in the Surface Treatment Division is responsible for inspecting and verifying parts/components that undergo processes such as anodizing, plating, chemical conversion coating, sandblasting, and other surface finishing operations. The role ensures all products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements.

Inspection & Quality Control
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection for surface-treated parts.
  • Check coating thickness, surface appearance, adhesion, color uniformity, corrosion resistance, and overall finishing quality.
  • Verify process parameters such as chemical concentration, bath temperature, pH, and surface preparation quality.
  • Conduct visual inspection using magnifiers, microscopes, and surface measurement tools.
  • Inspect parts based on technical drawings, customer specifications, and SOPs.
Measurement & Testing
  • Use measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, UV Light, coating thickness gauge, gloss meter, etc.
  • Perform tests such as adhesion test, hardness test, tape test, and other required tests.
  • Record test results and ensure documentation accuracy.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare inspection reports, NCR (non-conformance reports), and deviation forms.
  • Maintain quality records according to ISO standards .
  • Communicate inspection results clearly to Production, Engineering, and QA.
Process Control
  • Monitor surface treatment processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Verify that operators follow work instructions (WI), SOP, and quality standards.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action for quality issues.
Continuous Improvement
  • Support quality improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and process optimization.
  • Identify potential risks and propose improvements in inspection and process control.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience in surface treatment, plating, anodizing, chemical coating, or metal finishing is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings (GD&T).
  • Knowledge of quality inspection tools and testing equipment.
  • Good communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to work in a manufacturing environment with chemicals (PPE provided).
  • This is a fixed-term contract employment for 6 months. If the contract is successfully completed and both sides are satisfied, there have high chances to be converted as permanent employees.
