Purchaser/Procurement Executive

Responsibilities:

  • min 5yrs experience to building material and construction industry
  • To build good rapport with supplier.
  • Responsible to ensure goods are purchased according to min Engineering and construction Specifications.
  • Review supplier price and negotiate with supplier for price adjustment, and so identify and qualify opportunities for cost savings with an overall focus on margins.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and conduct market validations of current arrangements by obtaining competitive quotes and/or proposal.
  • Responsible for processing purchase orders, issue PO and placing orders to suppliers.
  • Continuously source for relevant supplier and responsible for negotiating pricing.
  • Understand seasonality, end user product and time sensitivity requirements.
  • Update and monitor supplier quality and delivery performance.
  • Plan delivery schedule and liaise with transporter. (advised by sub-contractor).
  • Participate in company ISO is required.
  • To undertake other related duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
