Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and innovative ICT Teacher to teach both Primary and Secondary levels. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) and Computer Science, with proven experience teaching IGCSE ICT. The teacher should be able to inspire students to think critically, code creatively, and apply technology confidently in real-world contexts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ICT lessons for Primary and Secondary students, aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
  • Teach IGCSE ICT effectively, ensuring students are well-prepared for examinations.
  • Introduce students to fundamental Coding and Computer Science concepts (e.g. Scratch, Python, HTML, etc.).
  • Promote responsible, safe, and ethical use of technology.
  • Foster creativity and innovation through digital projects and hands-on learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate ICT across subjects and support digital initiatives within the school.
  • Stay updated with current educational technology and teaching practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a related field.
  • Recognized teaching qualification and/or relevant teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching IGCSE ICT is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Coding and Computer Science concepts.
  • Passionate about technology and its role in modern education.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
