Key Feature of The Role:

Act and serve as a premier healthcare ambassador and critical first touchpoint for international health tourists visiting Malaysia. This role combines excellent hospitality with healthcare knowledge to create positive first impressions, address medical inquiries professionally, and facilitate seamless patient journeys.

Role Description:

a) Healthcare Ambassador Excellence

  • Promote and cultivate awareness of Malaysia's premium healthcare services among potential international patients
  • Serve as a knowledgeable advocate for Malaysia's healthcare capabilities, creating compelling first impressions that inspire confidence
  • Conduct professional representation at the MHTC Lounges, positioning Malaysia as a distinguished healthcare destination

b) Patient Inquiry Management

  • Manage comprehensive patient communication channels including call center operations, email correspondence, and in-person inquiries
  • Respond professionally to general and specialized medical inquiries with accurate, empathetic, and solution-oriented guidance
  • Transform walk-in inquiries at MHTC facilities into meaningful healthcare tourist relationships through exemplary service

c) Concierge Service Excellence

  • Deliver premium door-to-door hospitality and support services to international healthcare travellers
  • Coordinate comprehensive logistics including transportation, accommodation, and appointment scheduling
  • Facilitate seamless patient journeys with attention to cultural sensitivities and individual needs

d) Information Management & Distribution

  • Strategically distribute promotional materials including brochures, healthcare magazines, and educational resources
  • Ensure international patients receive appropriate materials tailored to their healthcare interest

e) Operational Administration

  • Administer MHTC counter operations with efficiency and professionalism
  • Monitor inventory management for promotional materials in a timely manner
  • Prepare detailed daily reports documenting inquiries received and services provided

f)  Healthcare Event Participation

  • Actively participate in and help manage healthcare promotional campaigns and events
  • Represent MHTC professionally at events in the hospital and/or in other venues
  • Support outreach initiatives that enhance Malaysia's healthcare visibility internationally

g) Market Intelligence Contribution

  • Gather valuable patient feedback and market insights through direct interaction
  • Contribute to MHTC's research initiatives by documenting patient preferences and needs
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on frontline experiences with international patients

h)      Collaborative Support

  • Provide assistance to MHTC initiatives beyond the Concierge and Lounge operations as required
  • Participate in cross-departmental projects that enhance Malaysia's healthcare tourism ecosystem
  • Support organizational objectives through flexible engagement with emerging priorities

i)To undertake any other duties as directed by the Immediate Supervisor and Management as and when required.

Requirement:

  • At least Diploma Holder (Fresh Graduate are welcome)
  • At least 1-3 years working experience as an executive in customer services or any related field
  • Patience in administrative works is required. Ability to multi-task, prioritizes, and manages time effectively.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Bahasa.
  • Good knowledge of the healthcare industry and basic understanding of the tourism industry
  • Proficient in customer service, with strong skills in handling customer inquiries
