Project Engineer/ Project Supervisor

About the role

As a Project Engineer/Project Supervisor at JAYAGAS GROUP OF COMPANIES', you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time position is responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and coordination to on-site supervision and quality control.

What you'll be doing

• Working with Project Manager to define project requirements, objectives, and scope based on Letter of Award/Contract.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Client, Main Contractors, Consultant, Site Engineer, Site Technicians, M&E Coordinators, Drafter, Kitchen Contractor, ACMV Contractor, Fire Wet Chemical Contractor & Site-Safety Supervisor (SSS).

• Coordinate project activities to ensure seamless execution and timely manners , with Project Manager, Workers, Main-con, Consultant, Architect and IOW

• Provide regular project updates and address concerns or inquiries promptly (Update site progress, RFI)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings and (Project Progression Report)
• Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to monitor project quality with IOW, Maicon and Consultant.(RIN)
• Coordinate project activities to ensure seamless execution and timely completion. (Coordinate Installation with workers)
• Analyze Drawings. Construction Drawings, Shop Drawings, General Assembly, C&S Drawings & Architecture Drawings for Project Coordination and finally publish As-Built Drawings.
• Produce Shop Drawings & As-Built Drawings through discussion with Drafter (CAD & BIM).
• Obtain necessary permits (PTW, Hot Work, Working at Height), JSA, HIRARC
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, Work Programme. (Microsoft project)

• Procure Approvals of Catalogue and Material submission approval list.(TSM)

• Arrange Materials from Purchaser and coordinate Material Delivery to site / store.(DO, MRF)

• Manage project resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Attending and participating in Site Meeting, Site Walk, Site Discussion, Site Coordination

What we're looking for

• Fresh Graduates and Experienced
• TVET/SKM I,II, III. Construction/ Oil & gas related
• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management/Technologies/Building Services or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in a project engineer or project supervisor role within the construction industry
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
• Proficient in project management software, such as Microsoft Project
• Effective communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
