Your Role

To maintain efficiency on inventory management, ensure accuracy in stock records, safeguard materials, and support smooth supply of goods to internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Inventory Management

  2. Receive, store, and issue materials, supplies, and equipment.

  3. Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems.
  4. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with system balances.

  5. Monitor stock levels and inform procurement when reordering is needed.

  6. Receiving & Inspection

  7. Check deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.

  8. Inspect goods for quality, quantity, and damage.

  9. Reject or report any discrepancies, damaged, or expired items.

  10. Storage & Organization

  11. Arrange items systematically for easy access and identification.

  12. Ensure proper storage conditions (e.g., temperature-controlled for perishables or medical items).

  13. Label items clearly and maintain storage cleanliness and safety.

  14. Issuing & Distribution

  15. Issue requested items to departments based on approved requisitions.

  16. Record all outgoing materials accurately.

  17. Ensure timely delivery to internal users.

  18. Compliance & Safety

  19. Follow company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.

  20. Ensure items are handled, stored, and issued according to safety and hygiene standards.

  21. Monitor expiry dates (especially for food and ingredients, medicines).

  22. Coordination & Communication

  23. Liaise with procurement, finance, and operations teams on stock requirements.

  24. Assist in forecasting stock needs based on consumption trends.
  25. Coordinate with suppliers on delivery schedules when required.

Requirements

  • Education:

    o   Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Hospitality Management, or

    related field.

  • Experience:

    o   Proven experience working as a Storekeeper or in a similar role in food service or inventory management.

  • Skills:

    o   Basic knowledge of Food Safety standards and allergen management.

    o  Knowledge of HACCP and HALAL is a plus.
