About Us

HaloVega Solar is a fast-growing solar cell manufacturing startup located in Perai, Penang. As part of our expansion, we are offering internship opportunities for passionate and motivated engineering students to gain hands-on experience in our high-tech manufacturing environment. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers and contribute directly to process improvement, equipment reliability, facility operations, and EHS initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations and improvement projects in Production, Process, Equipment, Facility, or EHS departments.
  • Assist engineers in data collection, process monitoring, and performance analysis.
  • Participate in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability tracking.
  • Contribute to EHS activities, including safety audits, energy-saving projects, and workplace risk assessments.
  • Help prepare technical reports, SOPs, and other documentation for improvement activities.
  • Support continuous improvement, 5S, and safety culture initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Chemical, Industrial, Environmental, or related fields).
  • Strong analytical, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Able to commit to a minimum 6-month internship period.
  • Positive attitude, eager to learn, and able to adapt to a fast-pacedmanufacturing environment.
