Key Roles & Responsibilities


•Partner with business leaders to develop and implement people strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring workforce readiness for current and future needs.


•Collaborate with line managers and business leaders to forecast manpower requirements, optimize resource allocation, and support recruitment.


•Provide HR advisory for new market entry or project bids, including workforce planning, manpower costing, compliance with local employment laws, and mobilization readiness.


•Support performance management processes, including goal setting, calibration, and development planning, to foster a high-performance culture.


•Work with managers to identify learning and development needs and facilitate targeted programs to build critical capabilities;


•Drive talent management initiatives, including succession planning, leadership development, and identification of high-potential employees.


•Provide guidance on employee relations, policy interpretation and compliance with employment legislation.


•Champion employee engagement and change management efforts to strengthen organizational culture.


• Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, balancing business priorities with employee advocacy.


• Manage the full spectrum of human resources functions for Malaysia's office.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline; experience in AI, software or related high-tech industries preferred.


• At least 8 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a business partnering role.


• Strong understanding of HR practices across the employee lifecycle and familiarity with local employment laws.


• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, especially with senior leadership


• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution capabilities.


• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage complexity across multiple divisions.


• Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead through influence and coordination.


• Chinese or Mandarin Speaking would be a plus.
