Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and prioritising data-driven improvements opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders

  • Developing and implementation of data analytics solutions to address specific business challenges

  • Conducting design workshops to co-create use-centric solutions aligned to business goals

  • Providing analytics support and dashboard development to enhance decision-making and operational performance.

  • Developing and promoting analytical models and dashboards that deliver actionable insights.

  • Ensuring data solutions adhere to data management and data governance policies

  • Maintaining smooth day-to-day data operations to ensure data availability and accuracy for analytics deliverables

  • Identifying and resolving data quality issues in collaboration with cross functional teams

  • Establishing best practices and guidelines for analytical tools and processes to optimise data usage

  • Developing and delivering training programs and workshops to enhance data literacy across the organization

  • Delivering regular data communications to raise data awareness and promote a strong data governance culture

  • To perform other duties as assigned by the Management, HOD and Team Lead.
  • To relief or cover duties of staff members in the department in his/her absence.
  • Ensure timely escalation to Team Lead/HOD/Management in case of any issues.

Working Experience
(Years / Type)

  • Bachelor degree with 8+ years of experience in data science, data analytics, data governance, data management or MIS/reporting
  • Subject Matter Expertise along with extensive hands-on experience in driving the development and implementation of data analytics solutions specifically within banking and financial institutions
  • Proficient in BI tools such as Qlikview, Tableau, Power BI etc with proven experience in developing interactive, effective and insight-driven management dashboards and business reports
  • Strong Python/R programming skills and expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
  • Experience in data management, data integration, data governance and ability to work across departments and business units/functions effectively
  • Experience in conducting data discovery, performing root cause analysis and making recommendations for data quality issues resolution.
  • Experience in managing metadata and master data management
  • Strong knowledge of data management and data governance framework, UI/UX principles and data analytics best practices
  • Strong experience on data governance tool such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation etc will be an added advantage
