Job Title: Marketing Communications (MarCom) Coordinator
Job Summary:
The MarCom Coordinator supports all marketing and communication activities of the resort. Responsible for content creation, social media management, coordination of promotional activities, and ensuring the brand's visibility across various channels. Works closely with the Sales & Marketing team to execute marketing plans and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities: Marketing & Promotion
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Create marketing materials such as posters, brochures, digital ads, and EDMs.
- Support the development of marketing strategies and brand initiatives.
Content Creation
- Produce content for social media platforms, website, and advertisements.
- Coordinate photography and videography for property, events, and promotions.
- Write captions, press releases, and simple copy for marketing materials.
Social Media Management
- Maintain and update the hotel's social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Monitor engagement, respond to inquiries/comments, and track performance.
- Schedule posts and ensure consistent brand messaging.
Branding & Public Relations
- Ensure all communication materials follow brand guidelines.
- Assist in handling media visits, influencers, and PR activities.
- Maintain a database of media contacts, partners, and collaborators.
Administrative Support
- Coordinate with internal departments (F&B, Front Office, Events).
- Handle marketing documentation, filing, invoice processing, and budget tracking.
- Prepare marketing reports and updates for the Sales & Marketing Manager/Director.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Comm, Graphic Design, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in marketing or hospitality preferred (fresh graduates considered).
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator is an advantage).
- Strong writing, communication, and social media skills.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work under deadlines.
- Photography/videography skills are a bonus.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
