Role Overview

As a Sales & Support Engineer, you will play a key role in expanding Make3D's presence in the Malaysian market. The primary responsibility is to grow our market share through proactive outreach, technical consultation, and project support. With our B2B industrial-grade business model, you will engage with high-value clients across sectors such as manufacturing, tooling, product development, education, and R&D.

You will receive comprehensive training on our product portfolio and business model. Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in a related field are preferred, though fresh graduates with a strong engineering foundation are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Business Development

• Reach out to new prospects, expand company exposure, and generate market share growth.

• Identify client needs, propose suitable solutions, and deliver high-ticket value deals.
• Work closely with the Engineering Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales forecasts with clear costing and margin analysis.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.

• Technical Consultation & Support

• Provide technical consultation to clients on 3D printing, 3D scanning, CAD software, and related applications.

• Conduct product demonstrations, seminars, and workshops for both industry and educational institutions.
• Support customers post-sales with troubleshooting, training, and technical assistance.
• Assist in project execution, including reverse engineering, engineering inspection, BIM modeling, R&D, and product design support.

• Collaboration & Reporting

• Collaborate with the support engineering team to ensure successful project execution.

• Report weekly activities, progress, and customer engagements to management.
• Ensure alignment with company direction and contribute ideas for improving client engagement and project success.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant working experience preferred; fresh graduates with strong technical foundation are welcome.
• Knowledge in 3D printing, CAD software, 3D scanning, CNC machining, injection molding, GD&T, DFAM, reverse engineering, R&D, or root cause analysis (proficiency in at least 3 of these is an advantage).
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly.
• Excellent problem-solving, task management, and project coordination skills.
• Independent, self-driven, and able to work as part of a team.
• Possess a valid driving license and own transport.
• Prior experience in B2B technical sales is an advantage.
