About the role

As a Shop Assistant at AMAXCOM TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD.', you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting the day-to-day operations of our retail store located in Kuching, Sarawak. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and assisting customers, answering their questions, and helping them find the products they need
  2. Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the store, including stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring the store is presentable at all times
  3. Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card payments
  4. Identifying and reporting any stock issues or customer concerns to the store manager
  5. Providing exceptional customer service to build strong relationships with our customers
  6. Participating in inventory management and stock counts as required
  7. Supporting other store operations as needed to contribute to the overall success of the business

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the technology or consumer electronics industry
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner
  3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy
  4. Basic numeracy skills and the ability to handle cash and card transactions
  5. A genuine interest in technology and a desire to learn about our products and services
  6. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays
