Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Clerk to join our team. The Office Clerk will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support daily office operations. Duties include filing and maintaining records, preparing documents, handling correspondence, and assisting with data entry. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and mailing
- Maintain and update company records, databases, and filing systems
- Answer phones, direct calls, and handle inquiries courteously and efficiently
- Prepare and process documents, reports, and correspondence
- Assist with data entry, billing, and recordkeeping tasks
- Support other departments and staff with administrative needs
- Ensure the office remains clean, organized, and well-supplied
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional office administration training preferred
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is an asset
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
