About the role

Our group operates a portfolio of F&B establishments, including KANTIN, an award-winning Sarawakian restaurant that has expanded from Kuching to Jewel Changi Airport since 2023.

We are now seeking an experienced F&B Operations Manager, based in Kuching, to oversee multiple outlets and lead our teams in achieving operational excellence and sustained growth.


Job Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and direction to activation planning team members

• Lead and manage daily operations, including events, catering, and service at multiple locations

• Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team

• Maintain strong client relationships and handle VIP bookings and special requests

• Ensure quality control across food, service, and event execution at each location

• Implement and ensure effective SOPs, staff schedules, inventory management, and event workflows

• Manage budgets, cost control, and P&L reporting

• Liaise with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations across all sites

• Produce monthly sales, event reports, and financial summaries

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor compliance, service quality, and brand consistency

• Implement and monitor strategic initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability

• Analyse sales and performance reports to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities

• Handle customer escalations and resolve operational issues


Qualifications:

• Good command in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia

• 3-5 years of experience in hospitality, events, or F&B management

• Proven leadership and team management skills

• Commercially minded and client-focused

• Strong communication, planning, and financial skills

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and event days
