** Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of routine and emergency maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel's equipment, guest rooms and facilities remain in excellent working condition. The role requires hands-on technical skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general repair.

** Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and repair guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on air conditioning, electrical systems, lighting, and plumbing fixtures.
  • Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Assist with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hotel equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and report major repair needs to the supervisor.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Assist in emergency situations (e.g., power failures, water leaks).
  • Work with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, front desk) to ensure guest satisfaction.

** Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Technical knowledge in electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC and general repairs
  • Basic knowledge of tools, equipment and safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems efficiently
  • Physically fit; able to lift, climb, bend and stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and on-call as required
