Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Executive - Legal at MTDC. The position is based in WP. Kuala Lumpur and allows for occasional work-from-home flexibility. The Executive - Legal will handle legal document preparation, provide legal advice to internal and external stakeholders, and manage matters related to property law and conveyancing. Daily responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and processing legal contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, offering legal insights to support decision-making, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to safeguard MTDC's interests.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge in Law, particularly related to corporate and regulatory issues.
  • Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and providing accurate Legal Advice.
  • Experience or understanding of Property Law and Conveyancing processes.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and work under tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent legal qualification. Admission to the Bar in Malaysia is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a legal advisory role, especially in technology or corporate sectors, will be beneficial.
