Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for the Head of Operations - Procurement and Production Halal Department, based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The role involves overseeing the end-to-end operations of the Halal Department, including procurement, production, and supply chain management. Daily tasks include vendor management, compliance with Halal certification standards, budgeting, and ensuring optimal production efficiency. The role also includes mentoring and leading a team, fostering collaboration, and developing innovative strategies to enhance overall operational performance while maintaining the highest quality and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Operations Management to oversee procurement, production, and supply chain processes effectively.
  • Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate data, solve operational challenges, and optimize efficiency.
  • Experience in Team Management and excellent Communication skills to lead and coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Expertise in Budgeting and cost control to manage financial operations and optimize resources effectively.
  • Knowledge of Halal certification requirements, processes, and compliance is essential for this role.
  • Educational background in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and dedication to fostering a customer-centric environment are highly desirable.
