PROJEK PEMAJUAN KAWASAN (PPK) - WILLING TO TRAVEL TO PERAK

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Supervision and inspection of site tests of the contractors and subcontractors to ensure completion of works as schedules and in accordance with the specification and drawings and keep records.
  • Create and hand out schedules for construction staff working in the field
  • Inspect and assess the quality of materials being used for construction projects and ensure the availability of resources and materials at all times
  • Calculate the quantity of materials, supplies and equipment needed for the project are as per approved specification.
  • Conduct periodic checks on works and liaise frequently with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure construction works achieve high standard of quality and workmanship.
  • Record and monitor all matters pertaining to construction activities and keep the detailed record on site, and report to the Project manager on the progress report weekly
  • Act as project representative for the Company during meetings with client and relevant agencies such as certifying authorities, auditors, government agency, third parties, etc.
  • Provide assistant to any site problems and propose mitigation solution that may arise from time to time
  • To ensure minimal wastages at site & ensure that housekeeping is regularly performed
  • Provide regular updates, reports, recommendations, analysis, etc to management for each project phase
  • Ensures to complete work within planned schedule and budgets in accordance with standards, legal requirement, and project-specific procedures and to high professional standard.

REQUIREMENT:

  • Minimum of 4 years in site supervision preferably with property developer and/or contractor.
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate/ Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering or equivalent (Civil & Structure)
  • Required Skill(s): Auto-CAD, Microsoft Office, Proficient in using computer/laptop
  • Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Engineering – M&E/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
  • Willing to travel/relocate to Perak
  • Working :6 days in a week
  • Familiar with building regulation, construction technique, material, testing & inspection procedure.
  • Must have good understanding building regulation, construction technique and project implementation process.
  • Good time management and teamwork skill.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, meticulous and confident.
  • Organized, disciplined, highly motivated, proactive and a team player.
  • Contract position and renewable basis based on project need.
