Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Assistant at Permaisuri Imperial City Mall, located at Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia. The Human Resources Assistant will help ensure smooth HR operations by assisting with administrative tasks, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and maintaining employee records. This role requires collaboration with different departments to ensure efficient HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Maintain digital and physical records of employees (e.g., contracts, performance evaluations)
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding procedures
  • Prepare HR documents like employment contracts and new hire guides
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests
  • Update HR databases such as data input to HR System, attendance checking, leave record, overtime claim and medical claim
  • Support payroll processing by providing relevant employee information
  • Inventory control on employees' uniform
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and internal policies
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualifications (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • Basic knowledge of Labour Laws
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Computer literate
  • Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
