We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Full Set Accountant to manage the complete spectrum of financial accounting for our growing company in renewable energy (Solar, EV charging sector). ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience within a project-based industry (e.g., construction or engineering), to ensure accurate financial reporting, robust project cost tracking, and compliance with all statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • General Ledger & Bookkeeping: Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL) maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
  • Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and consolidation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) for management review and external stakeholders.
  • Month-End Close: Execute timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Project Accounting & Cost Control: Track project costs, revenue recognition, work in progress, and monitor project budgets, providing variance analysis and profitability reports to project teams and management.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the construction of budgets and forecasts, and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for ongoing projects and operational needs.
  • Compliance & Auditing:
  • Ensure strict compliance with local accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP), tax laws, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents, providing necessary documentation and explanations for a smooth audit and tax preparation process.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and installation teams, to resolve financial matters and align financial processes with project goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM5,705.14 per month
