Business Analyst

Job Overview:

This role supports the Senior Business Analyst & Product Owner and the wider product team in delivering multiple products across the company's portfolio. The Business Analyst & QA is responsible for assisting in requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and release readiness. The role provides exposure to product operations, business analysis, and quality assurance while developing the foundational skills necessary to grow into a senior business analyst or product owner role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Delivery Support

• Support the Senior Business Analyst & Product Owner in executing product roadmaps and delivery plans across multiple projects.
• Assist in preparing product requirement documents (PRDs) and process flows under supervision.
• Maintain and update documentation to ensure accuracy and version control.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other agile ceremonies.

2. Business Analysis & Documentation

• Assist in gathering and clarifying business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate high-level requirements into structured user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Help develop process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
• Collaborate with engineering and stakeholders to ensure requirements are testable and traceable.

3. Quality Assurance & Testing

• Develop and execute test cases based on user stories and requirements.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and document results accurately.
• Record and track defects, ensuring issues are well-documented and reproducible.
• Support maintenance of regression testing libraries and QA documentation.
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to verify fixes and confirm readiness for release.

4. Product Operations & Workflow Management

• Assist in documenting internal workflows, SLAs, and knowledge bases.
• Contribute to post-release monitoring by helping log and prioritize reported issues.
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting practical solutions.

5. Collaboration & Team Culture

• Work collaboratively with product, engineering, compliance, and operation steams to ensure clarity of requirements and timely delivery.
• Communicate updates, blockers, and risks proactively to the Senior Business Analyst & Product Owner.
• Contribute to a collaborative, low-ego, and no-politics culture.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery and software development lifecycle.
• Experience writing test cases, tracking defects, and documenting requirements.
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira/Linear, , and Postman.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
• Familiarity with blockchain, digital assets, fintech, or trustee systems is an advantage but not a dealbreaker.
