Job Description

The Inventory Executive is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and managing the company's inventory levels. This role ensures accurate stock records, smooth stock movement, timely replenishment, and proper documentation to support daily warehouse and production operations

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the system.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and monthly/quarterly stock checks.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or variances.
  • Monitor stock movement (inbound, outbound, transfers, returns).
  • Ensure FIFO practices are followed.

2. Stock Replenishment & Planning

  • Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock.
  • Prepare stock forecast and reorder plans based on sales/production needs.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing Department for timely replenishment.

3. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
  • Ensure proper documentation of stock transactions (DO, GRN, stock adjustment forms, etc.).
  • Update and maintain inventory systems or ERP data accurately.

4. Warehouse Coordination

  • Work closely with warehouse team to ensure correct stock handling and storage.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing stock based on Sales Order.
  • Ensure proper labelling, binning, and stock arrangement for easy retrieval.

5. Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Ensure stock control procedures comply with company SOPs.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements for stock accuracy.
  • Support internal and external audits related to inventory.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years working experience in inventory or warehouse environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or inventory management systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM2,800.00 per month
