Job Title: Senior QA / Test Analyst – Internet & Core Banking Systems

Competencies and Skills

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Professional Certification:
• CTFL (Certified Tester Foundation Level) certification is an added advantage.
• Exposure to CMMi/TMMi testing frameworks is beneficial.

Relevant Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years of testing experience in a banking environment, with at least 3 years of hands-on testing in Internet Banking (Web & Mobile App) modules and functionalities.
• Possess solid Internet Banking domain knowledge.
• Experience with Core Banking systems (CASA, Credit Card, Loans) and other downstream channel testing is an added advantage.
• Exposure to SOAP UI testing, IBM/HP testing tools (HP ALM, HP PC, UFT, LoadRunner, RTC).
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies, Agile testing, and Testing Frameworks.
• Experience in Test Automation and Performance Testing scripting is advantageous.
• Proficient in Test Case Design, Execution, Defect Management, and Defect Triage.
• Strong in Risk-based Testing methodology.
• Capable of leading and mentoring junior testers.
• Experienced in preparing daily test status reports, test summary reports, and test closure documents.

Technical Testing Exposure (Added Advantage)

• Performance and Security Testing, including:
• Load and Stress Testing
• Regression Testing
• Transactional and Application Performance Testing
• System and Application Profiling
• Application Vulnerability Testing
• Network & Database Security Penetration Testing

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Test Lead / Test Manager in all testing phases, including Usability, Functional, Performance, and Security testing.
• Act as a reference point for Test Analysts by providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.
• Ensure the content, structure, and traceability of all test artifacts are properly documented and maintained in HP ALM.
• Escalate any testing-related issues or risks to the Test Manager/Test Lead promptly.
• Log and track defects in HP ALM until closure, ensuring detailed and accurate documentation.
• Create and execute test cases, ensuring traceability between test conditions and business requirements.
• Perform test execution and document actual results with supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots).
• Conduct defect triage meetings to manage issue prioritization and resolution.
• Provide first-level support to the UAT team after completion of System Integration Testing (SIT).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM8, RM9,500.00 per month
