What you'll be doing?
  • Lead Sales Team: Guide and inspire your sales team to explore and develop new business opportunities across various industries and territories.
  • Market Expansion: Promote and market Shinko Steam turbines to expand our market share and maintain our position as a market leader.
  • Quotation and Tender Preparation: Prepare accurate quotations, tenders, cost analyses, and sales presentations to effectively communicate our offerings to potential clients.
  • Client Engagement: Meet with clients and consultants, follow up on potential projects, and build strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Technical Support: Assist and liaise with principals for technical support and commercial proposals, ensuring our clients receive the best possible service.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of sales reports and budgets, contributing to the strategic planning and financial health of the company.
  • Market Intelligence: Socialize with clients and consultants to gather market information and lobby for new opportunities.
  • Client Satisfaction Monitoring: Constantly interact with the service department to monitor and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Commercial Negotiation: Engage in commercial negotiations and tender interviews to secure favorable terms and agreements.
  • Presentation Skills: Conduct Shinko turbine presentations through ZOOM meetings, showcasing our products and services to potential clients.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other duties assigned by management to support the sales team and company objectives.
Who are they looking for?
  • Sales Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leader role in palm oil industry with proven track record in driving business growth.
  • Educational Background: Degree in engineering mechanical to provide technical foundation for product understanding.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Mandarin, English & Malay for effective communication with diverse clients and stakeholders.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets and drive business growth.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the market and the ability to identify new business opportunities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with clients and consultants.
  • Technical Acumen: Basic technical knowledge of steam turbines to provide informed support and proposals.
  • Reporting Skills: Ability to prepare sales reports and budgets to support strategic planning.
  • Additional Language: Fluent in Japanese language is a plus for international client communication.
