Junior Tester

. The industry background is FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods).

Key Responsibilities

  • Knowledge Transfer & System Understanding
  • Obtain knowledge transfer (KT) from vendor teams responsible for system integration.
  • Understand end-to-end system flows to effectively run unit tests and validate data movement between integrated systems.
  • Test Preparation & Documentation
  • Create test scripts for interface data validation based on system requirements and data flow logic.
  • Prepare and update User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts using real user scenarios.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain approval and sign-off for UAT scripts.
  • Upload, create, or configure test scripts in the system as required.
  • Test Execution
  • Execute UAT alongside users according to approved test scripts.
  • Perform manual validation of data flow across integrated systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify, record, and track defects, ensuring issues are documented and communicated to relevant teams.
  • Sign-Off & Documentation
  • Coordinate with users to obtain UAT completion sign-off.
  • Ensure all test evidence, results, and documentation are properly recorded and updated.

Requirements:

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant discipline.

Experience:
Minimum 1–2 years in
manual testing
, including creating and executing test scripts and performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Technical Knowledge:

  • Solid understanding of
    Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    and UAT processes.
  • Experience with
    test documentation, interface validation, and defect reporting
    .
  • Familiarity with
    bug tracking and test management tools
    (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with vendors and end users.
