What you'll be doing?- Develop HR strategies: Align HR initiatives with business objectives to drive company growth and performance.
- Manage recruitment: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process to attract and retain top talent.
- Implement performance systems: Design and execute performance evaluation systems that promote accountability and career development.
- Lead training initiatives: Identify and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
- Ensure compliance: Maintain HR policies that comply with labor laws and reflect current best practices.
- Support change management: Facilitate change management and culture-building initiatives to strengthen organizational effectiveness.
- Mentor HR team: Guide and supervise HR team members to foster a high-performing and collaborative HR function.
- Provide employee relations support: Offer guidance and resolution on employee relations matters to maintain a positive workplace culture.
- Oversee compensation and benefits: Manage salary structures, incentive programs, and benefits administration to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Ensure workplace safety: Oversee the health and safety of all employees and implement staff development procedures.
- Maintain accurate records: Ensure meticulous implementation of payroll and benefits administration and proper record-keeping of employee information.
- HR Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in HR role with progressive responsibility and proven track record.
- Educational Background: At least bachelor's degree in business studies or any related field.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and Malay for effective communication with diverse stakeholders. Mandarin is a plus.
- Skills and Competencies: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of Employment Legislation: Strong understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Additional Qualifications: Additional training/certification in Payroll Management and experience in handling end-to-end HR functions may be advantageous.
