About the Role
Join Padini Holdings Berhad as a Junior Merchandiser (Fashion Design). In this full-time role, you will be an integral part of the fashion design and merchandising team, contributing to the development and delivery of the company's latest fashion collections.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist Merchandiser to follow-up on the sample raised to supplier; and update both parties on any changes to be made related to the samples;
- Liaise with suppliers, local and overseas, to ensure details and measurement of the samples received are in accordance with requirements;
- Prepare design sheet and order confirmation;
- Follow-up with printing & embroidery suppliers on logo or graphics to be used for each season;
- Ensure every procedure of the merchandising process including delivery is completed within deadline;
- Ensure all pre-production samples are correct;
- Ensure shipment of samples are correct;
- Take up any other tasks as and when assigned by superior.
Analysis:
- Constantly monitor own brand's merchandise performance and perform survey on competitors' merchandise performance.
Others:
- Assist in preparations for photoshoots and other brand-related events.
What We're Looking For
- Possess minimum Diploma in Textile/Fashion Design or equivalent;
- At least 1 year working experience in related field;
- Fresh graduate with great interest in fashion, strong fashion sense and creative is encouraged to apply;
- Candidate is highly organized, good team player and able to work under pressure;
- Possess good communication skills with multilingual ability;
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities.
