Join Sunway REIT as a Sustainability Executive and take up the responsibility in promoting green initiatives across our real estate portfolio. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sustainable practices while working alongside industry experts.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Sustainability Report Preparation

  • Coordinate and assist in the end-to-end process of developing the annual Sustainability Report.

  • Ensure alignment with relevant sustainability frameworks and standards.
  • Draft clear, concise, and engaging sustainability narratives, performance highlights, and case studies.

  • Sustainability Ratings / Awards Submission

  • Conduct rating gap analysis and propose improvement required to improve the ratings.

  • Keep track with the submission ratings / awards submission timeline.
  • Prepare and submit for Sustainability ratings / awards.

  • Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders across departments to obtain required information and updates.

  • Support communication and awareness initiatives related to sustainability within the company.

  • Data Collection, Documentation & Reporting

  • Keep track of business units sustainability initiatives for reporting purposes.

  • Collect, consolidate and monitor business units sustainability data for reporting purposes.
  • Assist in preparing materials for internal presentations, audits, and external stakeholders as required.

  • Others

  • Plan and execute Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.

  • Plan and execute OSH-related initiatives.
  • Support the head of department in preparing materials for meetings.
  • Keep abreast with the latest sustainability trend and landscape
  • Any other adhoc work relating to sustainability when required.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of relevant working experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or corporate communications is preferred.

  • Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with various internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, meticulous, and detail oriented.
  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD, SDGs, IFRS) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with sustainability ratings (e.g. FTSE4Good, CDP, MSCI) is an advantage.
