ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To lead the IT team in managing projects and implementing strategies for system support and implementation. The role covers IT infrastructure management, including cybersecurity, compliance, and department cost control.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Server maintenance : Ensure and enhance servers' architecture and configure IT hardware, firewalls, services, settings, directories, storage, switches and VPN etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
  2. Cyber security : Ensure and enhance firewall security environments in line with IT security policy. Protect confidential information by monitoring anti-virus protection systems, encrypting data, email security and perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
  3. Infra maintenance : Ensures execution of proper operations and maintenance of environment comprised of servers, workstations consisting of Microsoft based operating systems on a combination of physical and virtual platforms, including hardware, software, applications, data backup, disaster recovery
  4. ERP support and maintenance : Full support to business and operational requirements
  5. Project management : Great project management skills, including organization, planning, time management and prioritization
  6. IT Standards and policies : maintaining and upgrading IT standards and policies, implementing, and executing standard procedures for the system administration, backup, disaster recovery, and operation of Windows systems including backup management, hardware scalability planning, version/patch management, and lifecycle upgrade management.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS or related field.
  2. 5-10years of progressive IT experience in manufacturing industry, specialized in ERP & production automation support.
  3. Minimum 2-3years in IT leadership or managerial role.
  4. Able to interact and communicate well with all levels and demonstrated experience in driving effectiveness of IT department.
  5. Disciplined and meticulous when it comes to documentation and time management.
  6. Experience in development, installation, configuration or troubleshooting of hardware and software is an advantage.
