Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management:

o    Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all stock levels are monitored regularly.

o    Perform stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records to identify discrepancies.

o    Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to prevent damage, loss, or theft.

o    Store items in designated locations in an organized and accessible manner.

o    Track the movement of goods (receiving, storing, and dispatching) and ensure timely updates to the inventory management system.

  1. Shipping & Receiving:

o    Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.

o    Prepare shipping documents, including packing list, shipping marks/label, invoices, and delivery receipts.

o    Coordinate with external warehousing shipping companies and internal departments for the smooth and timely delivery of goods.

  1. Stock Replenishment:

o    Monitor inventory levels to identify when replenishment is needed.

o    Assist in ordering stock, ensuring that the right quantities are maintained to meet operational needs.

o    Maintain proper documentation of all inventory transactions.

4.     Record Keeping:

o    Prepare and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and movements.

o    Update and maintain an organized filing system for all relevant shipping and inventory documentation.

o    Generate regular reports on inventory status for management.

  1. Safety and Cleanliness:

o    Ensure that the storage area is clean, organized, and safe for both employees and inventory.

o    Follow safety protocols and regulations in the handling of goods and equipment.

  1. Collaboration and Communication:

o    Communicate with other departments to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.

o    Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to inventory.

o    Any ad-hoc related to customs issue report promptly & accurately to internal team.


Requirements:

  • Prover experience as a storekeeper or in similar role is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of inventory management software, proficiency in using computer and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prepare and process shipping documents accurately.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail accuracy in record-keeping and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
