Job Title: Head, Central Test Facility

  • Core Purpose: To establish, lead, and manage a Central Testing Facility (CTF) to standardize and improve how testing is done across the entire organization4. The main goal is to transition to a centralized, independent testing framework to deliver high-quality software, reduce defects, and make systems more resilient5.
  • Key Requirement: Close collaboration with project managers, developers, and other teams to deliver defect-free software efficiently6.

Key Responsibilities & Goals

Responsibility Area

1. Test Strategy & Planning

Create and implement consistent testing standards, strategies, and best practices across the organization. Consistent and effective testing practices aligned with company goals.

2. Team Leadership & Development

Manage, train, and mentor a team of testers, promoting innovation and accountability.A motivated, high-performing team and efficient use of resources.

3. Test Execution & Reporting

Oversee testing to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality results. Track key metrics and provide insightful reports to stakeholders.Defects are fixed early, and stakeholders receive timely, actionable reports.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with developers, project managers, and others to align testing efforts with project needs and keep everyone informed.Project requirements are met, and communication is clear and timely.

5. Risk Management & QA/QC

Identify and reduce risks in testing. Implement quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) processes to ensure high-quality standards.Consistent product quality, compliance, and fewer recurring defects.

6. Process Improvement

Analyze existing processes and drive improvements, including implementing new methodologies and automation frameworks.Continuously improved testing efficiency, speed, and accuracy.

7. Collaboration with External Partners

Manage relationships with vendors and third-party testing providers to enhance internal capabilities.Improved testing coverage and expertise with external support.

8. Technology Adoption & Automation

Drive the use of automation tools and stay updated on emerging technologies to integrate innovative solutions.Increased efficiency and reduced manual effort through technology integration.

9. Governance and Compliance

Establish frameworks to ensure consistent testing approaches and compliance with all regulatory and organizational quality requirements.Standardized, high-quality products that meet compliance standards.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM16, RM22,000.00 per month
