- Configuring, maintaining firewalls, switches, LAN, Intranet and WAN connectivity.
- Strong experience in configuring firewall rules, network segregation, VLAN and network device security profiles such as IPS, web filtering, rogue device detection.
- To troubleshoot and pinpoint root cause of network incidents.
- Proactively eliminate recurring network incident.
- Addressing network incident within SLA given.
- Maintaining all network device firmware to be patch whenever a firmware is release.
- Conducting risk assessments: Thorough risk assessments are essential for identifying vulnerabilities within the network environment. This involves evaluating potential threats and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
- Maintaining compliance: A network security engineer ensures that network infrastructure and processes comply with industry standards and regulations. This involves conducting regular audits and updates to maintain compliance with evolving laws and policies.
- Monitoring and managing security: Continuous surveillance of the network infrastructure is crucial. Network security engineers conduct assessments and audits, track incidents, and use specialized tools and technologies to remediate risks prior to exploitation.
- Collaborating with teams: A network security engineer collaborates and communicates with teams and educates
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, in Computer Science, IT Systems Engineering or a related qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in maintaining large corporate networks managing and administering complex network in an enterprise environment.
- Strong experience working with multiple vendors such as Fortinet, Juniper, Palo, Ruckus. With the ability to know what type of device to use for each network setup.
- Strong experience on optimizing network settings to improve reliability and performance to ensure network bandwidth is ideal for operation acceptable needs.
- Certified as network engineer such as CCNA, CCNP is preferred.
- Strong knowledge in swich routing, network security, network performance optimization network troubleshooting WAF, network Firewall and cost optimization techniques.
- • Deep understanding of enterprise IT policies, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage complex technical issues in a large-scale environment.
