Responsibilities
Ø Responsible for the process and procedures for admission of students to the Kolej Pengajian Keselamatan dan Penyiasatan Malaysia (KPKPM).
Ø Support the Registrar's Office (RO) in a variety of duties including data entry, customer service and telephone support.
Ø Working closely with the sales and recruitment staff as well as the academic staff across the KPKPM.
Ø Assist in collection and oversees the collection and maintenance of student related data and other student records; process any changes and update information on a timely basis, assuring the data is correct for record keeping.
Ø Participate in recruitment activities such as Open Days and Higher Education events, and to support other RO activities.
Key Responsibilities- Student Admissions & Records
To review admission applications and ensure all the required documents are being furnished- Process applications, to include accurate recording of data in the KPKPM Student Record system and other databases with the aim of 100% accuracy.
To work closely with the education consultants on the status and progress of new application - To advise staff on the KPKPM entry requirement and to update all stakeholders of any changes to the entry requirement.
To issue Conditional Offer Letter and/or Letter of Offer to successful applications - To ensure successful applicants are enrolled in the Campus Drive/Cloud and or CMS - To verify the registration of new students on the registration day and to handover the original Letter of Offer as and when necessary.
To assign and issue the appropriate student ID - To assist to produce the student ID card, and handle issuance of such ID, physical or digital copy, to students.
To maintain complete and accurate information on all students in compliance with mandatory legal and/or local policy. To inform and update with any new circulars and policy changes from the relevant ministries and regulatory bodies.
To help other sections of the RO and to undertake duties as requested by the Registrar from time to time - To Assist the Registrar in the provision of management reports required by various governing bodies.
