Duties and Responsibility:

  • Assist in all pastries preparation and production arrangement.
  • Able to perform basic icing and cake decoration.
  • Perform all finishing and labeling of cakes when required.
  • Maintain high cleanliness and food storage standard in the kitchen.
  • Ensure minimum kitchen wastage.
  • Report any maintenance issue to Sous Chef / Head Chef immediately.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
  • Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

Position Requirements:

i. Qualifications: Culinary Art

ii. Experience: Pastry experience will be added advantage.

iii. Skills / Competencies:

  • Have a passion for pastry and baking.
  • Pleasant personality, good work attitude, responsibility, friendly and active personnel.
  • Fast learner.
  • Adapt to the needs of business.
  • Willing to work on shift, weekend and public holidays.

iv. Good command of English, Malay or Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
