About the role

At THONG KIT AUTO PARTS SDN BHD', we are seeking a dedicated Storekeeper to join our team at our Sekama Branch location in Kuching, Sarawak. This full-time position is a crucial role within our Warehousing, Storage & Distribution operations, and will be responsible for the efficient management and control of our inventory and stock movements.

What you'll be doing

  • Receiving, storing, and issuing goods, materials, and equipment in accordance with established procedures
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels
  • Handling and processing order requests from customers and internal departments
  • Coordinating with transportation and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Conducting regular stock checks and audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies
  • Assisting with the implementation of inventory management systems and processes

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar warehousing/logistics role
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and computer systems
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
