Job Descriptions:

  • Assist in preparing, cooking, and plating dishes according to company standards.
  • Support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations and maintain smooth workflow.
  • Ensure all food items are prepared with consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment at all times.
  • Follow food safety, Halal, and hygiene standards as per company and local regulations.
  • Help with ingredient preparation, portioning, and stock rotation.
  • Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies properly.
  • Learn and follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.
  • Work closely with kitchen teammates and contribute to a positive, cooperative environment.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Chef or Management.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent; Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts is an added advantage.
  • At least 1 year of kitchen experience in a hotel or restaurant environment (fresh graduates with strong interest in cooking are also encouraged to apply).
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and safety practices.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
  • Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
  • Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Positive attitude, punctual, and eager to learn.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1, RM2,300.00 per month
