Job Descriptions:
- Assist in preparing, cooking, and plating dishes according to company standards.
- Support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations and maintain smooth workflow.
- Ensure all food items are prepared with consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment at all times.
- Follow food safety, Halal, and hygiene standards as per company and local regulations.
- Help with ingredient preparation, portioning, and stock rotation.
- Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies properly.
- Learn and follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.
- Work closely with kitchen teammates and contribute to a positive, cooperative environment.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Chef or Management.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or equivalent; Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts is an added advantage.
- At least 1 year of kitchen experience in a hotel or restaurant environment (fresh graduates with strong interest in cooking are also encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and safety practices.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
- Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Positive attitude, punctual, and eager to learn.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1, RM2,300.00 per month
