  1. Conduct safety audits and inspections of workplaces, equipment, and operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  2. Develop and implement safety procedures and policies, ensuring they align with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, Environmental Protection, etc.).
  3. Identify potential hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions to eliminate or control risks.
  4. Lead safety training programs for employees at all levels to ensure understanding and adherence to safety practices.
  5. Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
  6. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and regulatory compliance documents.
  7. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and other departments to design and implement safe work procedures for new projects or equipment.
  8. Stay updated on current safety regulations and industry best practices.
  9. Provide support and guidance on safety-related matters for ongoing or new projects.
  10. Conduct regular emergency drills and prepare emergency response plans, including fire drills, first aid, and evacuation procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety engineering or a similar role, preferably within the PCBs sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA standards, fire safety regulations, and environmental safety laws.
  • Proficiency in safety management software and tools for reporting and tracking incidents, inspections, and compliance.
  • Acquired Green Book.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess risk and develop practical safety solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly communicate safety procedures and regulations to employees at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple safety initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to implement safety policies and procedures.
