Job Description 

  • Develop 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings for molds.
  • Prepare mold specifications, checklists, component drawings, and assembly drawings.
  • Assist with product and tool development and the molding process.
  • Analyze piece parts for moldability and manufacturability.
  • Develop design concepts for new tooling and optimize existing molds.

Job Requirements 

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, I-Mold, AutoCAD).
  • Knowledge of material properties and their impact on molding.
  • Understanding of different molding processes (e.g., plastic injection molding, die casting).
  • Experience with mold design software and tools.
